Government Permit to operate is issued for the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies for Academic Year 2025 to 2026

Accreditation from Bureau of Immigration authorizing to admit foreign students to the Baccalaureate Programs

July 2024

Government Permit authorizing LCIC to operate Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is issued for Academic Year 2024 to 2025.

February 2024

Government Recognition is granted LCIC for Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language.

May 2022

Special Study Permit accreditation from BOI is granted

October 2021

CHED Temporary Permit to Operate was issued for Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language.

September 2021

LCIC officially opened its doors to students, with the first and second floors of the Foreign Languages Building completed. Additional student halls and other facilities were expected to be finished by the end of the said year.

November 10, 2020

A framework completion and ground-purifying ceremony was conducted, symbolizing the institution’s solid foundation. This event was attended by LCIC stakeholders and contractors, celebrating the progress of three major buildings: student halls (820-person capacity), the faculty building (6,130㎡), and the main building (3,020㎡).

December 1, 2019

The groundbreaking ceremony for LCIC was held in Mactan Island, marking the beginning of its journey to becoming a premier institution.
