“CEmenting the Gaps: Strengthening Bonds Between Students and Progress”

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗘 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

This momentum is the second time happening at LCIC, making it a meaningful part of the institution’s evolving traditions. It highlights the active involvement of Civil Engineering students, showcasing their unity and dedication in shaping a stronger academic atmosphere. With each occurrence, it leaves a lasting impression that strengthens pride and connection within the community.

Due to the uncertainties last year, this event was rescheduled and moved to 2026. It may not take a place as originally planned, but its significance remained unchanged. The delay only built greater anticipation, making this year's celebration even more meaningful and memorable.

𝗕𝗘𝗔! 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦! 𝗚𝗢! 𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦!

March 16–19 2026, the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is rising once more. No more setbacks will hinder this long-awaited celebration. Featuring dynamic activities such as "𝘊𝘌𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘊𝘌𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘋𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘦," "𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨," "𝘛𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨," "𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳’𝘴 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘦," various ball games, and many more, the event highlights both creativity and teamwork among students. It will culminate in a unifying program that strengthens camaraderie and celebrates the resilience of Civil Engineering students or as they are known, "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨." 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲.

The excitement peaked during the House Sorting moment, led by Effie Trinket portrayed by one of the CE students and brought to life through the creativity and preparation of the CE Student Council. With flair and theatrical charm, she guided the participants through the first highlight of Day 1, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. This marked the official beginning of the event before the participants advanced to the group games, where the two competing teams would finally face off.

Divided into the 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙡 (𝘽𝙇𝙐𝙀) and the 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙑𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙖 (𝙍𝙀𝘿). These will be the homes of the chosen learners and even the instructors once they are sorted. May the collaboration of both houses become the foundation of tomorrow or, more or less, solidified prospects.

𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆?

As the CE Week progressed into the closing day, the 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘝𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘢 and the 𝘎𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘌𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘭 reunited as one, eagerly embracing the joy and excitement of their much-awaited final day. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 unfolds as a lively spectacle in the morning, where two pairs from each team take center stage, gracefully yet playfully showcasing their unwavering dance chemistry in a fun and spirited manner. The 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴 make the most out of the moment, filling the air with laughter, cheers, and vibrant energy. As the afternoon arrives, the 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 takes the spotlight, where selected pairs from each team confidently walk the platform, embodying the elegance, strength, and identity of their respective houses, leaving behind a lasting impression of unity and pride.

As the day draws to a close, the 𝘎𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘌𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘭 claims the crown of the 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦, shining brightly in triumph, followed by the Legion of Vespasia as first and second runners-up, while the 𝘎𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘌𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘭 once again secures the third spot, proving their undeniable strength and grace. Though this victory is not yet the final record of winning.

𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘆? 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘀… 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘀… 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗮𝗹. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗲𝗲𝗲… 𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺!

Or as we proudly call them, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗮—stands victorious, their name now etched in the memories of all who witnessed their remarkable journey.

Beyond their triumph on the last day, the Red Team’s remarkable journey extended throughout the first to third days of CE Week, where every activity tested their skills, creativity, and teamwork. From engaging challenges that demanded collaboration to spirited competitions that highlighted their perseverance, the 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘝𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘢 consistently rose to the occasion. Each task, whether big or small, contributed to their growth as a team, forging stronger bonds and a shared sense of purpose that carried them seamlessly into their ultimate victory. Their success is not defined by a single moment on the platform, but by the collective effort and camaraderie displayed throughout the entire extravaganza.

And while the Red Team celebrated their peak achievement, the 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗹 proudly followed, standing strong and resilient all the way to the final day. They claimed the crown in their own remarkable way, and even in the face of every challenge, they gave their absolute best, pouring heart, dedication, and tireless effort into each activity. They also triumphed in several games on the previous days of the event, showcasing their skill, teamwork, and determination throughout CE Week. Their unwavering spirit and steadfast commitment illuminated every moment, leaving a lasting impression of pride and inspiration that will be remembered long after the celebrations have ended.

As the event comes to an end, the students are celebrated for their energy and vibrant participation that enlivened every activity. The house managers and faculty are deeply appreciated for their steadfast guidance and thoughtful support throughout the celebration. Together, their dedication has shaped this occasion into a remarkable showcase of unity, resilience, and the joyous spirit of achievement.
