𝐋𝐂𝐈𝐂 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐢 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭, 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐗

On April 12, 2026, the LCIC Samurai Flag Football Team (Mixed) competed in the Cebu Flag Football League Intercollegiate Tournament at Adventist Academy Cebu in Talisay City. The Samurai faced strong opposition from USJR and CIT-U in their opening matches. The results—USJR 21, LCIC 6, and CIT-U 19, LCIC 6—reflected the level of competition. Despite the losses, the team demonstrated determination, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the games.

With each touchdown worth six points, the Samurai battled consistently and showed their readiness to compete against established collegiate programs.

The tournament marks the beginning of the team’s campaign in Intercollegiate Season X. The Samurai are scheduled to return to the field on April 19 and April 26 at East Adventist Academy, with opponents yet to be announced. The upcoming matches provide an opportunity for the team to regroup, improve, and build on their performance.

The LCIC Samurai continue to embody resilience and courage—values that extend beyond the scoreboard. With more games ahead, the team remains focused on delivering stronger performances in the coming weeks.

The season is still in its early stages, and the Samurai aim to make a strong comeback.
